Avg Antivirus Not Updating

Avg Not Installing On Windows 10

If AVG antivirus does not get installed on a Windows 10 computer, follow these steps to resolve the issue.

  • Start Menu Control Panel Uninstall a Program Locate AVG antivirus and select it . Click the Uninstall button at the top. Click Next.
  • Wait until the older version of AVG antivirus is uninstalled from your computer and then restart your computer.

  • Go to the manufacturer's official site and open the Tools page. Download the AVG Remover tool on your computer and run it.
  • Choose the older version of AVG antivirus that is to be uninstalled and click Remove.
  • Wait until the AVG antivirus' remnants are removed from the Windows 10 computer.
  • Restart the Windows computer and then try installing the latest version of AVG antivirus

Avg Not Installing On Vista

  • You have to restart the computer in the safe mode to resolve this error.
  • Go to the Windows menu and click the Power button. Press the Shift key available on your keyboard and click the Restart option.
  • On the Choose an Option screen, select the Troubleshoot option.
  • Choose Advanced Options on the next screen and then click the Startup Settings option.
  • Click the Restart button on the Startup Settings screen followed by the Safe Mode With Networking option.

Avg Uninstall Problem

Internet Not Working After Avg Update

  • Next, select the Settings option from the menu. 
  • Choose the Components option followed by the Firewall option. 
  • Select the Customize option and then choose the Network Profile option.
