• First, make sure to close the BitDefender Antivirus program that is running in the background. 
• Open the list of the currently installed programs.
• For Windows 7 users, click the Start menu Control panel Uninstall a program.
• For Windows 8 users, right-click the Start menu and select Programs and Features.
• For Windows 10 users, right-click the Start button Program and Features.
• Next, click the BitDefender program and then uninstall the program to activate the built-in installer.
