How to Use Comodo Rescue Disk

Comodo rescue disk is a tool that helps to identify any malware defects on your system. The Comodo rescue disk will run a scan operation on your system, and the detected malware defects are displayed on the screen.

To download the Comodo Rescue Disk on your Windows 10 system, follow the instructions given below.

  • Launch a web browser on your system.
  • Click anywhere in the search field and type the  Comodo software’s URL code in it.
  • Now the official page of the Comodo will appear on the screen.
  • Expand the  Introduction to Comodo Rescue Disk tab by clicking the plus icon beside it.
  • Click the link below the  Downloading Comodo Rescue Disk  section.
  • As soon as you click the link, the Comodo Rescue Disk file download process begins and wait for it to complete.
  • After that, run the downloaded Comodo Rescue Disk .exe file and finish the installation.
  • Perform the on-screen instructions to finish the installation process.

  • After that, open it and set the main features as per your need.
  • You can set the scan type in the  Scanning Your System  section.
  • From the  Tool menu list, you can find the  Managing Quarantined Items, Importing Virus Signature Database, and Checking for Software Updates  options.
  • Set the preferences as per your requirement and click the  OK  button.

How To Burn Comodo Rescue Disk To Usb

  • Make sure you have installed the Comodo Client Security on your system. 
  • Open it and select the Create Rescue Disk option available under the Advanced Tasks menu. 
  • Next, the guidance on how to create a new rescue disk with the help of a wizard list will be displayed. 
  • Choose the ISO File from your system to burn it. Use the Browse option to locate the downloaded ISO file. 
  • Make sure you have connected the USB drive to the computer firmly. When the Drive Selection prompt appears, choose the USB Drive. 
  • Tap OK to burn the ISO file to the USB drive. The progress will be shown in a green circular bar on the next screen. 
  • Once the process is over, the rescue disk will be available on your USB drive.

If AVG antivirus does not get installed on a Windows 10 computer, follow these steps to resolve the issue.

  • Launch the comodo Client security on your system and go to the Advanced Tasks tab. 
  • Select the Create Rescue Disk option, and the procedure to create a rescue disk will be displayed. 
  • Choose the ISO file to be copied to the USB drive. If you have not downloaded it already, then you can go to the manufacturer’s site and download it. 
  • In case you have downloaded it, go to the correct location and select the file. 
  • The next step is to choose the correct drive to burn the rescue disk. 
  • Click OK, and the rescue disk will be burnt and created successfully on your USB drive.

  • Visit the official site and enter the version of the software that you want to download in the respective fields.
