ESET Endpoint Antivirus Firewall Settings     

Perform the following guidelines to set the firewall settings.  

  • First, launch the main window of Windows ESET Antivirus.
  • Long press the F5 key to go to the Advanced setup.
  • Tap Firewall and tap Edit.
  • Next, tap Add and set the limit individually for the rule in General, local, and Remote tabs.
  • For General, enter the rule name into the Name field.
  • Choose the In and Out under the Direction Clean my PC drop-down list.
  • Next, choose Allow, Deny, Ask under the Action drop-down menu.
  • For the Local tab, it is Port, IP, Zones.
  • Enter the Port range and give an IP address and add the Zone.
  • For Remote, it is the Port, IP, Zones.
  • Once done with the changes to rule parameters, tap OK.
  • Now, the new rule will be displayed in the Firewall window.
  • Tap OK and exit the Firewall rules window.
  • Next, tap OK to apply the changes and close the Advanced Setup.

How to Disable The Firewall In ESET Nod32 Antivirus?     

To disable the ESET Antivirus Firewall Settings on ESET nod32, perform the following guidelines.

  • First, launch the ESET application on the computer.
  • On the left pane, choose the Setup menu.
  • Now, tap Network protection.
  • Next, slide the switch off, next to to the ESET Firewall Settings option.
  • From the pop-up, choose the Time frame and select the timings from the available list.
  • Tap the Apply option and tap Yes in the pop-up screen.
  • Now, you will see a red alert on the ESET Antivirus Firewall Settings screen to notify you that the firewall is disabled.
