Disable Windows Defender Firewall:

  • Disable Windows Defender Firewall:
  • On the computer’s desktop, click the Start icon and choose Settings.
  • Then, select the Update & Security menu in the Settings window.
  • Following that, choose Windows Security and then click the Firewall & network protection menu.
  • Select a network profile name to turn off the firewall settings for the network.
  • Under Windows Defender Firewall, click the toggle button to turn off the Firewall for the network that you selected previously.

Disable Windows Antivirus protection:

  • Go to the Windows Security settings, as mentioned above.
  • Next, select the Virus & threat protection menu. Following that, choose Manage settings or Virus & threat protection settings.
  • Find the switch under the Real-time protection section and click on it to turn off the protection service.
  • But this setting will not stop all security scans which are already scheduled; instead, the security scan for the newly-downloaded file or program will not happen.
