- Navigate to the official manufacturer’s site and view the options on the screen.
- Click the Sign In option to access your Bitdefender account. Enter your Bitdefender login credentials and then click Sign In.
- Click the My Devices option on the left-hand side of the screen. Then, click ‘Install Protection.’
- Click the Protect this device option to begin downloading the Bitdefender application.
- Click the downloaded Bitdefender file. Click Run Yes .
- Now, the downloading Bitdefender window appears on the screen. Click the checkbox beside the T&C agreement clause and then click Install.
- It takes a while for the Bitdefender application to get installed on the computer. Now, click the ‘Start Using Bitdefender’ option to begin using the Bitdefender application.
How To Install Bitdefender On Mac
Here are the Bitdefender installation guidelines for a Mac computer.
- Navigate to the Bitdefender Central account on a web browser which you have installed on the Mac computer.
- You can also create a Bitdefender application if you don’t have one already.
- Click the My Devices panel ad then click Install Protection.
- Then, click the ‘Protect this device’ option and then choose the computer owner name.
- Click Continue on the Bitdefender installer window to proceed to the next step. Click Continue again.
- Choose the language for the Bitdefender software and then click Continue. Click Agree.
- Choose the destination drive for Bitdefender and then click Install.
- Enter the Mac user information when prompted and then click the Install Software option.
- Now, the Bitdefender application will be downloaded and installed automatically. Click OK if you see a ‘System Extension Blocked’ message.
- Click the Security & Privacy link. Navigate to the lower section of the Security & Privacy window and click Allow.
- Click the checkbox beside the Bitdefender SRL option and click OK.
- Now, the Bitdefender application has been installed on your Mac computer.
