Kaspersky Management Console

The Kaspersky management console lets you manage protection for your computer and mobile devices from a single location. When you have connected all the mobile devices and your computers to the Kaspersky account, you can update antivirus databases, run scans, send commands to the mobile devices, and much more.

Kaspersky Cloud Management Console 

Here are the guidelines to set up the Kaspersky cloud management console.

  • Navigate to 'cloud.kaspersky.com' on your web browser and sign into the Kaspersky account with your credentials.
  • The 'Welcome to Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud' window appears. Click 'Get Started.'
  • Read the Kaspersky End User License Agreements and then click the checkboxes beside each of the documents in the agreements. Select 'I accept the terms.'
  • The Kaspersky webpage displays the Proxy server settings window. Configure the proxy settings and click Next.
  • A list of Kaspersky lab features is displayed on the screen. You can choose to configure these features now by clicking them and following the on-screen prompts. Or, you can click Later and set up these Kaspersky cloud features later
  • When you click 'Later' or finish setting up these Kaspersky features, the guidelines for Kaspersky Security Network usage are displayed.
  • Read these Network usage guidelines and then click 'I accept the terms' button. This completes the initial configuration of the Kaspersky Cloud Management Console.

Kaspersky Central Management Console 

Follow these guidelines to set up the Kaspersky cloud management center, i.e., the Kaspersky Central Management Console on your computer.

  • Go to the Kaspersky online store and purchase the Kaspersky Small Office Security activation code. Make a note of it.
  • Open 'ksos.kaspersky.com' on your web browser and type the details such as company email address and password. Set the Kaspersky console's security question and type an answer for it.
  • Click the 'I agree' checkbox and click Create.
  • Open the Kaspersky email from your email inbox and click the 'activate this account' link.
  • The Kaspersky account activation screen appears. Enter the Kaspersky account password and click 'Activate and sign in.'
  • When the Kaspersky Security Management Console opens, click the Licenses tab. The Kaspersky console prompts you to enter the activation code. Type the Kaspersky activation code. Click 'Add code' and view the license term displayed on the screen.
  • Click Usage Download select the Kaspersky components to be downloaded. Install the Kaspersky applications on your devices and manage them from this central management console. 

Kaspersky Web Management Console

Follow these guidelines to set up the Kaspersky Web management console.

  • Navigate to 'support.kaspersky.com/ksws10' on your web browser.
  • Go to the System Requirements tab and check whether your computer meets the requirements displayed on the screen.
  • Click the Downloads & Info tab. Click Files click the KSWS link that is displayed in the pop-up window.
  • Run the Kaspersky file as an administrator and click Next on the opening screen.
  • Select the Kaspersky Security Web Server installation path and click Next.
  • Wait until KSWS is installed. When the Kaspersky Security Windows Server window appears, click the 'Install Kaspersky Security for Windows Server' link. Click Next.
  • Click the checkboxes beside the 'Privacy Policy describing the handling of data' and 'the terms and conditions of this EULA.' Click Next.
  • The 'Please Save All Your Data Before the Scan' message appears. Make sure that the 'Scan computer for viruses' checkbox is ticked. Click Next Next.
  • The Kaspersky Advanced installation settings window appears. Set a destination folder for the Kaspersky installation files. Ensure all the checkboxes are selected and click Next Next Next .
  • Click Install, wait until the Kaspersky application is installed, and then click OK.
  • Click the Kaspersky Web Console link and wait until the file is downloaded. Run the Kaspersky Web Console as an administrator.
  • Ensure that both the T&C agreement checkboxes are selected and then select the Kaspersky components to be installed, such as Apache Server, Kaspersky Security Center Web Console, and Self Service Portal.
  • Set the destination path for these Kaspersky packages and install them.
  • Configure the Apache Server by entering the details such as DNS domain name, server name, administrator's email address, and the port number. (Use 8080 or 8081.) Select the HTTPS checkbox and then go to the next screen.
  • Select a certificate for the Apache server by choosing either the 'Generate new certificate' or 'Choose existing' options.
  • Configure the connection by choosing the SSL port number (default:13291) and the address of the admin server device. (default:localhost)
  • Set the ports for inbound connections from the Apache Server. (default:9000)
  • Choose your domain account. Do note that this account is through which the Kaspersky installation packages will be installed on your mobile devices. Click Test. If there is a connection, go to the next step.
  • Click Install. Follow the actions displayed by the Kaspersky application to complete the installation of the web console. Click Exit.
