Fix to Temporarily Disable Antivirus Windows 10
Antivirus software may block some software installation or updates on your computer. This is why you have to turn off your antivirus application for a short time until you install the required software. You can temporarily Disable Antivirus Windows 10 computer by following the steps that are given below.
Temporarily disable Windows Defender Antivirus:
- Windows Defender is the built-in antivirus application on the Windows 10 computers.
- Go to the Start menu and type Windows Security.
- Open the Windows Security app and select Virus & threat protection on the left panel.
- Otherwise, go to Settings and select Update & Security. Then, select the Virus & threat protection settings.
- Click the Manage settings link at the bottom of the page.
- Turn off the toggle switch under Real-time protection.
