Vipre Error 1722

The VIPRE error 1722 issue occurs due to some problems with the Windows Installer Package during the product installation or uninstallation. To know how to fix this issue, read & proceed with the troubleshooting instructions given below.

To fix this issue, uninstall & reinstall the VIPRE antivirus software on your system.

  • Download the  MS Fixit  program removal tool from its official site and install it on your computer.
  • Click the  Run  button, followed by  Accept  to begin the troubleshooting process.
  • Now the Microsoft Fixit application starts to scan your system.
  • Click the  Detect problems & let me select fixes to apply  option.
  • Select  Uninstalling Next Yes Try uninstall.
  • Choose all the files listed on the screen and click the Next button.
  • Wait for the uninstall process to complete.
  • Once the uninstallation is done, the  Process Succeeded  message will appear on the screen.
  • From the list of feedback options, choose the one, and click the Next button.
  • Now the VIPRE antivirus software is uninstalled successfully from your system.
  • Close all the existing programs and restart your computer.
  • After that, reinstall the VIPRE application on your system.

Vipre Error Error 1706

The VIPRE error 1706 code is displayed on the screen when the network resource you are trying to use is not available or found. The guided instructions given below will help you to fix the VIPRE error code 1706 issue.

  • Open your system’s task manager to begin the troubleshooting process.
  • Click the Processes tab and select the SBAMSvc option followed by the End Task button.
  • Now, check if there is an installed package available for your current VIPRE product.
  • If yes, download the installer package.
  • Right-click on the downloaded installer file and click the Create a shortcut option.
  • To access more features of the shortcut, right-click on it, and select the Properties option.
  • Then, type the /s /v"/qn REINSTALL=ALL command in the target field.
  • Click the OK button. Restart your system if required, and then check if the issue is resolved.
  • If the issue persists, then contact the VIPRE antivirus technical support team to fix this issue.

Error 1639 Vipre

The error code 1639 appears if there is a problem in opening the installation log file. To clear this error message, follow these steps.

  • Go to the desktop screen and press the Win key and R key at the same time. The Run window opens.
  • Enter the word string ‘%Temp%’ without quotes and press the Enter key.
  • The Temp folder is opened. Find the VIPREInstaller.log and VIPREPRemiumInstaller.log files on this folder and delete them. Try installing Vipre antivirus and check whether the error message appears. If so, follow the steps below.
  • Go back to the desktop. 
  • Press the Win key and R key at the same time to open the Run application.
  • Enter the word string ‘sysdm.cpl’ without quotes and press Enter. The System Properties window opens.
  • Choose Advanced and then click Environment Variables.
  • Edit the Temp and Tmp paths and then click OK.
  • Now, check whether the issue persists when installing the Vipre antivirus. 

Vipre Error 1719

The error code 1719 appears when a Windows installer service cannot be accessed during the Vipre antivirus installation.

  • To fix this issue, follow these steps below.
  • Navigate to the desktop screen and press the Win key & X key at the same time. 
  • The power user menu appears. Left-click Command Prompt.
  • The User Account Control window opens. Choose Yes.
  • In the command prompt window, type the word string ‘regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\msi’ without quotes and press Enter.
  • Attempt the Vipre antivirus installation and check whether the issue is resolved.

Vipre Error 1500

When attempting to install Vipre antivirus, the error code 1500 appears along with a message stating that another installation is in progress. 

  • This error code appears when there are two instances of the same service, or one installation is already in progress when you try to start another service.
  • Follow these steps to clear the error message.
  • Go to the Task Manager and click the Processes tab.
  • Click the Show processes from all users option. Find the MSICExec.exe entries and end these services.
  • Attempt to install Vipre antivirus and check whether the error message is cleared.

Vipre Error 1720

Proceed with the solutions provided below to rectify the VIPRE error code 1720.

  • Download the recent version of the Windows Installer software from the manufacturer’s site.
  • Navigate to the bottom-left corner of the screen and then select the Start icon on the task tray.
  • In the search bar, you have to type ‘services.msc’ without the quotes.
  • Now press the Enter key on the computer’s keyboard.
  • Double-click the Windows Installer icon, select the Manual option from sthe Startup Type section.
  • Select the Start button and then check for any error messages on the screen.
  • Select the OK button.
  • If you cannot resolve the VIPRE error code 1720, install and run the MS Fixit software to fix it.

Vipre Error 1722

When you see the VIPRE error code 1722 appearing on the screen, click OK and then perform the troubleshooting instructions mentioned below to rectify it.

  • Download and install the MS Fixit tool from the manufacturer’s site.
  • After installing the MS Fixit tool on your computer, you need to run the software.
  • Select the Accept option.
  • Now, the MS Fixit software begins to scan the computer.
  • Click Detect problems and let me select fixes to apply -> Uninstalling. Now select the VIPRE software from the Programs menu.
  • Select Next -> Yes, try uninstall.
  • Make sure to put a checkmark beside all the options displayed on the screen.
  • Select the Next button.
  • When you get the ‘Process succeeded’ message on the screen, you have to choose one of the options from the Feedback section.
  • Select Next -> Close.
