Webroot Antivirus Uninstall Tool

Step-1: Download the Webroot uninstall tool

  • Launch the web browser app and visit the official Webroot website.
  • Search for the Webroot utility CleanWDF tool compatible with your computer system and download it.
  • Save the tool on the desktop for easy access.

Step-2: Create a restore point

  • If you have not turned on the System Restore feature, then open the Control Panel, go to the System Restore menu, and enable it.
  • After that, open the Windows Explorer, right-click the Computer directory, and select Properties.
  • Select System Properties and choose Create to create a restore point.

Step-3: Run the Webroot CleanWDF tool

  • Double-click the Webroot Uninstall utility on the desktop to open it.
  • Next, click the Clean button, and the tool starts to clean the Webroot Firewall program on the system.
  • Restart the computer if prompted by the tool.
  • If you do not get the restart message, then click OK, later select Close.

Step-4: Run the Webroot WRUpgrade tool

  • You can find the Webroot WRUpgrade tool on the official website; download and install it on your computer.
  • Open the tool to run it, complete the cleanup process, and click Close.
  • Then, restart the computer when prompted to do.
